    On 10 September 2024, the Hong Kong Observatory and the Solomon Islands Meteorological Service signed an expanded memorandum of understanding on cooperation at the Observatory’s headquarters, to further enhance collaboration and exchanges in aeronautical meteorological science and technologies.
