“Extreme Total Rainfall of Automatic Weather Stations” webpage launched

The Hong Kong Observatory launched the “Extreme Daily Temperatures of Automatic Weather Stations” webpage under the “Climatological Information Services” on 30 June 2025 to further enhance the dissemination of historical extremes from automatic weather stations, following the release of the “Extreme Total Rainfall of Automatic Weather Stations” webpage.

Members of the public can access the “Extreme Total Rainfall of Automatic Weather Stations” webpage to view the ranking of extreme total rainfall recorded by automatic weather stations, as well as the total rainfall ranking of individual automatic weather stations.
