Enhanced Information Services related to Heavy Rain and Severe Convective Weather
To strengthen the dissemination of weather information, the Hong Kong Observatory enhanced the "Regional Information of Heavy Rain and Thunderstorm" webpage and the "MyObservatory” app with the addition of graphical presentation of maximum recorded rainfall categories in the past hour for various districts in Hong Kong. New names for tropical cyclones in 2025 introduced
