A five-member delegation from the Air Traffic Management Bureau of the Civil Aviation Administration of China visited the Hong Kong Observatory on 2–3 July 2025. The two parties exchanged views on the operations of the Asian Aviation Meteorological Centre and the latest developments in international aviation meteorology, and explored opportunities to enhance collaboration in critical areas such as forecasting techniques for aviation hazardous weather and meteorological support for air traffic flow management. The delegation also visited the Airport Meteorological Office and Meteorological Garden at the Hong Kong International Airport. The visit will foster closer collaboration between the two parties in the future.
