Observatory Colleague Visit the Meteorological Service Singapore

Ms Ng Yin-lam, Scientific Officer of the Hong Kong Observatory, visited the Meteorological Service Singapore (MSS) on 1 August 2025, and held discussions with colleagues from MSS. The discussions focused on the World Meteorological Organization's Aviation Research and Development Project, as well as the International Civil Aviation Organization's Hazardous Weather Information Services. During the visit, Ms Ng also visited the Central Forecast Office of MSS, to understand its operations and engage in technical exchanges. This visit marks a step forward in the strengthening the partnership between the Observatory and MSS, paving the way for collaborative efforts to advance meteorological science and service delivery in the region.
