Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Meeting on Cooperation in Meteorological Operations and Meteorological Science and Technology Seminar Held in Macao
The 30th Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao (GHM) Meeting on Cooperation in Meteorological Operations and the 38th GHM Seminar on Meteorological Science and Technology were held in Macao on 11 and 12 February 2026. In addition to reviewing progress with work during the past year and discussing plans for future cooperation, a ceremony was held to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the cooperation meeting. Educational Package on Climate Change Version 2.0

Observatory Colleagues Visit Facilities of Air Traffic Management Bureau of the Civil Aviation Administration of China in Beijing and Xiamen
From 3 to 6 March 2026, Mr Dickson Lau, Acting Principal Experimental Officer of the Hong Kong Observatory, led a four-person delegation to visit the Air Traffic Management Bureau of the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC ATMB), including the Aviation Meteorological Centre and the meteorological departments of Daxing and Xiamen. Delegation from National Marine Environmental Forecasting Centre Visits the Observatory
Ms Kang Jian, Director-General of the National Marine Environmental Forecasting Centre (NMEFC) of the Ministry of Natural Resources, led a delegation of six experts to visit the Hong Kong Observatory on 12 March 2026, to discuss marine-related work and future cooperation. (More……)
